We have a bird rescue about 30 mins from where I live...They got one in that was poaching fish from a fishing boat and got caught up in the net...It's wing is damaged so it will never be able to go free...You can walk up almost up to the cage...Bald eagles are incredible animals and you don't realize how big they are until you can get close to one...

Very cool, I was up at loon lake last month and saw 3 eagles flying around. One was flowing me as I crossed the lake.

Very cool, I saw one in a mall here in Ontario a while back as part of some information booth. It was quite cool, such a beautiful animal.

This one was sleeping on the beach near here a few months ago.... apparently, had been out mating for a while, so was tired - we've all had days like that, right?

We don't get many eagles down here, but do get pelicans every now and then.... great to watch them fly, they look almost prehistoric...

I'm fortunate to live in oregon and occasionally you see bald Eagles around.

Back when i used to do some amateur sailboat racing, you would see their massive nests atop the huge pilings. They were like 5 ft across. Simply amazing creatures.

'M-erica!
