which on to get?
which on to get?
Ok guys I have a chance to get a rpm 2.65 tranny or the s & k airs body. Both are used but in great shape.. the tranny is on a 10T and is asking 50.00 Ttuck is mostly gonna be a parts truck. Or the airs body that is painted very cool and in very good shape for 25.00

Re: which on to get?
Tough choice in my opinion. I would have to see the condition of the items. 10t rollers are a dime a dozen and RPM tranny's aren't all that rare either. A nice airs body is something you don't see very often.

Re: which on to get?
body...those bodies don't come along as often as the trannys will. There are guys out there sitting on a bunch of these rpm tranny cases waiting for the pot to simmer to get top dollar out of them. I've bid on 3 of these bodies over the last year going well over what you are getting a nice one for...
if I had the choice I'm gonna go +2 on both though

Re: which on to get?
The key feature is the hole and tunnel that forces air to the motor. I have a couple of the stock car bodies
Kinda makes a person wonder, what if S&K were still around and doing cab forward bodies. Hmmm

Re: which on to get?
like Justin said its a bad picture. Paint could use some decals/stickers(
) but I think the angle is just really off in the picture to show what this body really looks like.
