ALL my RC's are runners/bashers/beaters...no shelf queens here! Love to look at em but dont want one, I like to enjoy them in action. I have couple scale crawlers but heres the 2 buggies I play with.
BroncoBuggy is my main beater. I LOVE this rig and with the new 17.5 brushless setup Im in heaven with this thing.
I have another short arm RC10 that I cant find the pics for but I got it on here a while back. Its gonna get the same 17.5 treatment and then run till it wont anymore, rebuilt and ran some more. Love this thread!!!
One of my favorite beaters:
RC10B3 built to the "standard setup" as described in the B3 Tuning Guide
(except for the addition of the front antiroll bar).
Pro-Line Dirt Hawg tires on Duratrax rims (which are kinda brittle).
V1 shocks with bleeder caps.
stock 2.4:1 Stealth transmission with 81/26 gearing.
Associated SC450-BL speed control with Hobbywing EZ-Run 13T motor.
Airtronics 94360 servo.
Airtronics 2.4 GHz Rx/Tx.
Great example. The B3 makes a great everyday runner IMHO. Fast, reliable and for a while they were a dime a dozen on ebay. I don't really get on ebay much anymore (especially after midnight on a Friday or Saturday ) so I don't know how easily accessible they are, but they're a lot of fun.

My current vintage basher, a retro equipped LXT with Tekin 420 g2, a Trinity D3 mod motor of unknown turns, Futaba s9402 servo... and first gen Losi mini lst selectable channel radio set lol. I plan to replace the motor with something more suited to the LST seeing as I think the D3 is from a touring car and I have some 3000mah nimhs coming from HobbyKing.
I am probably going to do up a vintage Losi buggy as a basher as well... just not decided which one yet

well, i got a motor plate, so the trans is in. no lhs have the nose brace tubes, though. so, instead of waiting to order some, i bought some k&s 3/16 aluminum rod and made my own. it should beef the front end up a little more, since they're solid...
Not bad for $14.33, (23.28 shipped)
an interesting mix of parts: green nose, sprint car chassis, rpm steering bellcranks, stealth motor plate, jrx-pro? front shock tower.
I bought it because i needed short front shocks  that didn't work out the...
I folded and ordered up an X-60 mid motor kit for my T4,so I had to find another truck just to beat on.
I picked this up as a roller for the equivilent of US$65.
New body, but no decal sheet and the previous owner shot it a truly horrid smurf vomit...

Oh now I see the rears.
If ya really want to screw with people then the next time your racing run the truck with regular tires and wheels and then do a snake race. Turn on the lights and race. My buddy did that and distracted most of the field to...
I got this several years ago in a trade, have not yet made a single change to the configuration - works great the way it is. This summer though, I plan to go through and make it a bit more correct...and less stiff in the front end...

Thanks, I'm hoping for some improvements also.
My son is starting 1st grade in 2 days, so that will give me a bit more time during the day, at least when my 2 year old daughter is taking her nap.
One day at a time, that's the way it goes...
Finally came in the mail!Plan on using this truck as a runner. It's been used hard which is fine by me and makes me not feel guilty about bashing it .I do plan on trying to keep it period correct on outside but updated underneath. She isn't much to...

Begin this one with other couple of projects. I have one that is in great condition, I began to dissect it to clean the parts and restore it into factory stock condition, yet other project in as a burden I'll be making custom suspension pieces out...
I finally put together my RC12L from parts stolen from other cars. It has a Hacker C40 6T motor that barely fits. It has a LT-200A ESC(overkill), cheapo Turnigy Lipo battery and a micro servo. I am looking for a cheapo 1/12 scale body to fit. It...

I finished up some more oldie pan cars. TRC Lynx and Composite Craft/rc12l hack job. Sad thing is, that the wife said to sell them.
I like the 12l set up for drag 8)
painting in the cold sucks and this is what I came up with for...
I don't know why I'm going to attempt this, or what my plans are with this car, but it's too gnarly to let it go. I picked up a package deal a few months ago for a Custom Works Dominator roller with a boatload of spares. The main car was relatively...
