every vintage car i touch turns to crap.

my jrx2's diff doesn't sound/feel right.
the blitzer's pinion is stuck on the wrong motor and the servo sucks (that's what i get for loaning it out)
the df01 manta ray's gear box is effed, hopefully stickboy's got parts for me.
the clod....the clod...last year everyone told me to race it this year as is "it doesn't matter how fast it is, it's awesome you should race it" now it's "it's too fast"
the rc10t is beat up from the goshen stampede when i raced it against modern trucks.

not to mention everytime i go to work on them something comes up and i have to stop.

i think i'll bring my son's 380 powered grasshopper as a back up.lol hey atleast it's fun to drive and in one piece.

You mean my RC-10 could have had a chance at that JRX2 finally? SUre it would have been unfair, but I would take it

I know how you feel. Been trying to get my 450 helicopter in the air and every time I turn the corner something else needs adjusting/fixing. Then I take out my b4 with the +8mm chassis(2nd time out) and snap it in half trying to clear the triple. then I got to fly my mCPX and the main motor starts cutting out.

The good news is that I found out why my 8.5 was lacking the power to clear the jumps, my bullet connectors were bad. Crimped them on with pliers and it FLEW through the air better than my 450 helicopter.

OK back to your normal programming.

Can;t wait to see the RC-10 classic on the track, o wait that was pushed back yet again.... Ok, can't wait to see all the short arm rc-10s on the track via pictures.

To anyone going this weekend:

Does anyone have a wing tube and a rear tranny brace for stealth for RC10? My friend is missing those on his car and asked me to see if anyone had those parts. He's willing to buy. He'll be there with me, just doesn't have an RC10Talk account.

gotcha covered on both, Kevin. I have a few nose brace tubes that should be OK for the wing tube. We can certainly give one a try!

Hey I may speak for a few out on the left coast and send best wishes to you guys. Have fun and I wish it didn't seem like so far away.

( it really isn't consider those that are sackin' up and coming over the pond - no excuses here).

Looking like the clod is staying home. ESC is giving me issues.. tap the throttle ever so lightly and it explodes with power.. enough to twist the chassis and almost break stuff.. then as you progress thru the powerband it chills out where it should be, then jumps back up to full power, then goes back to where normal speed should probably be by the time you hit full throttle. I swear it worked before.. This is with a Racer EX esc and Lipo
