Exactly what most of us guessed!
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Sweet, finally!
They got the servo moved more into the center line now. Looks like no more weak stripped front bulkheads and covers either.

Actually, the original xx4 was getting pretty broke pretty easily pretty often  If they can have the durability nailed down on the new one, it's a winner! 8)

HI Guys,
Really exciting day for us today. The guys here have been working hard on this project for a while. We did a lot of testing at a private track and the guys were running very strong with the new car...and quickly i might add. I'm used to us working out bugs, dialing it in over a few days etc. Our guys with minor changes were immediately going faster than their xxx4 and XX4's within an hour! Now granted i'm comparing the new car to two very old cars but Dustin, Dakotah and Darren have still done ok with those old cars the last couple years.

I wish and I bring it up at every meeting we have about new projects but it's shot down every time. It's not as simple as tossing the tools in the machines and running again. I'll keep trying but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Well how about making the Jrx2 smaller? I would love a 1:18 mini jrx2 rere :)

And you would not have people complaining about rere parts being sold as originals!

Mmmm Commemorative Mini line, with the parts exchange from the jrx line you could almost have a single commemorative kit that you could build anything from a Jrx2 to a LXT I would buy the heck out of that! lol

I know first hand right now. Try and find the a6214 2-56 shoulder screw, they are not easy to source already made.
Then there is the hinge pins and input shaft, shock bodies. Not that I have been looking into any of this. ;)

But the big question is, belts, will the belts on this new buggy fit the XX4. Are they the same size?

The best 4WD platform brought bang up to date! I might need to grab one of these for my shelf, to go next to the original :D Its a XX4, but has styling from the old yokomo '93 car and an optima mid custom from way back when.

Super excited to see how this goes this week in Chico, best of luck to the TLR guys, go Mr Bloomfield!

I dont get the name 22-4 though, I thought 22 was 2wd, 2 motor config. Whats gonna happen when they bring out an updated version 22-4 2.0!? :|
