SuperScale Diablo
Re: SuperScale Diablo
Oh.. lol. Ill never drive these. No worries there. I have owned them for gees.. 10 years and they are decoration.. nothing more.
I wouldnt be worried about crashing the car so much as ripping the drivetrain out.
Your black car is fantastic! What is the story with the wheels? The only way to improve that is to have those front wheels have a flush face and keep the dish of the rear. MAN your car looks great!!!

Re: SuperScale Diablo
Wow, those Superscale cars looks fantastic.
It seems like I have a chassis for one of those. Have had it for years, I thought it was for a cheap 1/8 something.
TamiyanDan - Do You have pictures of those 1/9 Scalers anywhere here?

Love those kits. I always figured if I owned one they would never be ran tho.
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: SuperScale Diablo
That 4-Runner is so NICE.
My chassis is still without a body after 8-9 years - They are quite expensive.
But worse is - my body has been without a brain for at least twice as long.
Thanks for sharing.

Re: SuperScale Diablo
Shame the Jaguar XJ220 has a completely incorrect engine in it. I suspect the kit was made when it was originally going to have a V12 NA engine.

Re: SuperScale Diablo
I had a hard time deciding to sell the jag and diablo. In the end,, it was the molded plastic construction that helped me decide. I could never run em in fear of breaking something. Beautiful models though. I still have a used diablo body that will end up on a stretched buggy chassis someday.

Re: SuperScale Diablo
The 300ZX, Testarossa, and Porsche likely all are on the Ultima Scale Car chassis, which is just a stretched Ultima 2 chassis with Scale Car wheels. At least that one can be run.
Re: SuperScale Diablo
I remember all of this!! it's all coming back! I saw the 300zx in person, this was the sorta double deck chassis, yes.?

Re: SuperScale Diablo
Whats nice about the testarossa, porsche, f40 and 300z is they can be adapted to just about any buggy chassis. The lambo and jag require a stretched chassis. One of the diablos I got was actually on a stretched rc10 chassis,, with an unfinished legend kit included! What a miracle of home brew engineering! The builder was also in the middle of installing led lights, and functional flip ups for the head lights.
