Picked up a Tamiya Fox

Post by Chris00gt »

I've had my eyes open for a Fox for years, and I finally ran into a good deal I just couldn't turn down. My friend had one when I was a kid and I remember racing against it at a few races in high school. Overall was in great shape, just needed cleaning and a few screws. I also removed the factory wiper speed control setup in favor of a Novak ESC. I did do some rewiring so I could use the factory chassis switch to turn the novak on and off. The car is pretty much ready to go, but I think she's also going to be a shelf queen sitting next to my childhood Hornet. On a good note it's nice I can pick up new parts now that the Nova Fox is out!! Took a few pic's of her.

I love my Foxes. I think it's because they are so "one off."

Reminds me, need to get another Re-Re for parts and another Hornet.
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

It does but the diff in my OG is screwed up. Maybe I shouldn't fix it?
