Looking for old 2.0" rear dish wheels

Post by Bottom Feeder »

I'm trying to find a pair of white 2.0" rear wheels for an on-road RC10 basher/runner I'm putting together bit by bit. I already have a set of shallow-offset Pro-Line #2557 2.0" dish front wheels (thanks, Sabulatech) that use old-style 4WD front tires but I can't seem to find equivalent rears. Did Pro-Line make a matching rear wheel to the #2557? The closest I've come across are RC10 Graphite/Team Car #6802 rears which look just about perfect but it appears that Associated reused the part number making searches for old stock a lot more difficult.

Pic link of the 2557 wheels @ Sabulatech: http://sabulatech.com/storefront/product.php?id_product=1038

I built a similar car 20 years ago using the same wheels and narrow front end and the results were pretty good. I just can't remember exactly what wheels I used on the rear...

Wasn't Associated releasing their 2.0" 1 piece wheels again? I thought I read that in another thread but can't find that now... :(

They have released 2.2" wheels for the 3/16" axles, but not 2.0" wheels for the 1/4" axles as far as I know.

Thanks! That gives me the part number to the matching Pro-Line rears at least. #2558, who'da thunk it? lol
