Re: Mid Engine RC10
Few more pictures.
Chassis. Pretty bare right now. Parts should be on their way soon if not already.

Exhaust clearancing.

With a white background its easier to see what I tried to do with the windows.

Throwing the idea around in my head of painting the windows white.

And I really have no plans on running this. Building it just for old times sake. I've regretted selling my old one many times. I don't run any of my vintage cars. Especially nitro. Too much hassle.

Re: Mid Engine RC10
I don't know a lot about the RC10GT. Is this essentially a GT with buggy arms and bulkhead?
I'd take a knife for some really good nachos.

Re: Mid Engine RC10
I was not a big fan of the nitro RC items, but your creation is super cool looking. Very well done.
I am anxious though to see how it all plays out on the track. I would assume that the engine placement will have an effect on the car especially on jumps. Do you have any predictions or assumptions on performance and handling? I might say that it should be stupid quick though!
Cool project!!

Re: Mid Engine RC10
I hear ya there. I have 'runners' that are vintage, but I rarely do run them. I love building and tinkering more than I do running them.romulus22 wrote:I don't run my vintage car so this car wont be ran. I just like to build the cars.

Re: Mid Engine RC10
Aww shucks!
You should at least do a gentle run on a short cut lawn or some thing!
We would love to know how well it worked!
