And 'they' say these are kids 'toys'.....! ('They' being the uninitiated of course.) Back when I used to erm....race.....I had to make do with a lot of hand me downs (no eBay back then) and cheap battery's. I used to marvel at some of the setups that guys used to bring along just to have a bit of 'serious' fun! you name it, they seemed to have brought everything including the kitchen sink! Then there was the need for seven packs of battery's.....one for practice, four or five for the qualifiers and one for a final. That's getting on for £350 worth of batterys.......it's no wonder why I struggled to be anywhere near competitive.
