At that price NASA couldn't even afford it! Pretty cool and I wish the guy well, but if he finds someone willing to pay $10K for that thing tell him to send them my way. I have all kinds of cool collectible crap that doesn't work.

you would have to have a ton of thrust becuase the shuttle glides about as well as a brick does.

That thing is cool. Hard to say what it's actually worth, but rc airplanes can easily surpass the 10k mark, and people fly them all the time, so I think it's possible that may actually be worth a lot of money, especially to the right person.

Very cool, but at 10 grand, It would sit as display only.......But if I could afford that, I'd probably set it off.

I'm half tempted to drive to Charlotte to check it out. It's only 1.5 to 2 hours away depending where he's at in the Metro area.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

I'm just guessing here, but I imagine that the boosters are actually model solid rocket boosters, and it launches like a real shuttle, and then boosters and tank separates like the real shuttle, leaving just the shuttle, which appears to be powered by a nitro ducted fan setup.
