Re: AE new products question
i know an insider at associated. he told me that the new 2wd buggy gonna be called the rc10b25 (25th anniversary). it's gonna be a carbon copy of the original rc10, but it'll be made out of the newer composite materials.
now, if you believe that, i'll tell you another one.

I think you mean ex world champ, and current euro champ Neil CraggMOmo wrote:The "new" B4 box has the euro champ Craig D's car on the box. i don't know the exact differences.

Re: AE new products question
U mean this one I guess.
I heard that the "new" B4 will be called 2008-spec but maybe that's just the concept name.

Re: AE new products question
This question has probably been asked before, but would they ever pursue the "retro" route with some classic re-issues....it's worked for some.

Re: AE new products question
Does anyone know if it has the spazzy enormous rear wing on it as standard? Damn, it makes the svelte B4 look ugly... I forgot to look in the box when i saw one.Minicooper 35 wrote:U mean this one I guess.

Re: AE new products question
I like it to be honest. I was never a friend of the "tiny" original wing on the B4 kits (In terms of the look of the car. Maybe aerodynamic wise the smaller one is "better" - depending on the track.)hkp wrote:Does anyone know if it has the spazzy enormous rear wing on it as standard? Re: AE new products question
Watch modern racers, they use a huge rear wing AND leave the vertical rear section in place as well - notice the box art picture. Speed and power is never a problem in off road but traction is.Minicooper 35 wrote: Maybe aerodynamic wise the smaller one is "better"
Re: AE new products question
No doubt they work better on the track.. but the original wing looked so lovely.. In fact the whole box B4 package is one of the best looking buggies ever imo...

Re: AE new products question
Never happen. The RC10 is an icon but it is not re-issue material. I talked to Cliff about this the last time we spoke. They are focused on the future of racing not the past.Albertini wrote:This question has probably been asked before, but would they ever pursue the "retro" route with some classic re-issues....it's worked for some.
Leave the reissues to someone with nothing better to do. Like Tamiya.
He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.
Re: AE new products question
I heard they are working on a B5, but not a lot will change, more like a B2-B3 type change.
But prob more china bits
