My idea behind this chassis is to have something like what people used to race but with my own flavour, so I have been scouring old pics and things for inspiration.
Basically on my chassis I will have a Legend kit but with it what else should I have to make it stand out?
-Rear suspension - RPM 91 worlds rear arms or standard AE like in the Legend manual?

-Front suspension - has to be standard AE for the Legend kit and also because of the noseplate being used.
So will it look stupid/impure or whatever with this mix? Is it pointless and no racer would have ever used this set-up because of some imbalance?
Any general thoughts?
A lot of the old race pics I have seen seem to have people using a long 7 cell layout and that is the same in the MIP Legend box pic. But how have they achieved this? Do they;
-Cut the front battery cup and just strap it down tight?
-Re-drill the battery cup holes and set-up like the standard 6-cell set-up? (hope that made sense)

Basically what's the best idea there?
Penultimate question but what are the front tires used on the MIP Legend manual car and does nayone have any spare?

Finally do you have any ideas I should/could take onboard? I am making a chassis to my specs so what else could I do?
Cheers for all your thoughts.
Ed
P.S. Don't get to excited I don't know how long this project will take but it will happen this year
