Fee is on top of the payment that you will be sending(additional), Please see below.

PayPal balance or bank account
Free when sending money inside the US

Debit/Credit card fee
2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction (the sender decides who pays this fee)

Outside the US
0.5% to 2% fee when fully funded with your bank account or PayPal balance or 3.4% to 3.9% if paying with a credit or debit card

If you choose friends or family, there is no fee, but also no protection from unsavory recipients. Not saying that would happen here, just a friendly warning.
I'm not like them, but I can pretend...

Yup, if sent as family/friend no fees unless it's an overseas deal- I've been hit with some very minor fees for that. I think it is when money conversion takes place

as a precaution this place is not immune from 'unsavory' sorts so make that another friendly warning.

Me too, heck the are some eBayers (not members) that I send payment as gifts lol. Only from lots of good experiences. Crunchy550 and Fiftyraynine are on my good list

I have used a PayPal Fee Calculator. One of them is at the link below:

Hope this helps.
