Looks like this is coming along nicely! Looking forward to seeing how you finish the chassis... talking of which, how rigid is it, say compared with the original garphite chassis? & what sort of aluminium have you used?
Its very rigid. Its more rigid than the graphite but not as much as the composite.
Its 2024 T3.
I have requested colors and pricing from gomachv's anodizing place for the hardcoating process. They call it type 3. I am staying away from bright colors except for accent hardware. I want the car to look like a racer and not bad acid trip. Maybe a titanium color or something like the 22/Durango chassis etc.

But Losi's always look like a bad acid trip
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Hah...too many Losi's are indeed a "carcophony" of neon.
I test fitted the battery tray and its crooked. I mean, I must have been drunk, crooked. I just dont think I can live with it. So I am trying to come up with a solution for that. Then off to the annodizer.
This is a very clean JRX Pro I recently found. I was surprised by how nice it was. Everything should clean up to like new condition.
I want to do something a little different with the chassis by narrowing the sides to the same width as the SE. This...

There's a vintage Team Losi sticker that has a pink pinstripe and I think a white tire or circle as the background. That would look great on the bottom of the chassis, proportionally scaled up to fit the size of the chassis.
Hi all,
Sorry if this has been covered before but im rebuilding a JRX Pro and am not that familiar with them.
I need to replace the shock towers but can only find the parts listings for the JRX-ProSE.
Are these the same? Obviously the JRX-Pro had...
I'm thinking of building a JRX T out of all the JRX era parts I have.
Are the JRX Pro and JRX T chassis the same,or does the T have more kick up in the nose?
The PRO chassis certainly has the extra length.

Whew, for a moment there I thought I forgot my Alzheimer medication again.
Having had a JRX-2 back in the day and having a few other vintage cars I decided to get one. Was a bit of a mess but tidied up okay.
I then decided I wanted to drive it but I have nightmares thinking back to the problems I had with the original...

That explains it, mine never see lower than 13.5bl motor. When I get to the track the one I go to is too small for more. And I can barely drive a 13.5 as it is.
Found this Losi that was available from an Australian eBay seller, looks like he ended the auction early - maybe for a priveate sale. Anyone seen this tricked-out Losi before????
Also shows a neat solution to the chassis brace problem!
I just purchased the double deck JRX from rcveteran but it is lacking a body. Do you think I can put a Pro SE body onto the JRX Pro??
Anyone done it before?? :D

The pro shock towers were more a function of the the trinity shock size. The front size trinity shocks were too short for a SE tower so I went with full set of rears. It reminded me of what many were doing back in the day on the JRX with the long...
