Re: Box O' Stuff
nah, i'm already in "waiting for arms to come around" mode for my same andy's chassis. so i'm trying to eliminate my competition for them.
wait...... uh...... i mean protect him from years of sadness, staring at an a-armless chassis. yeah, that's it.

Re: Box O' Stuff
well then, you find me a nip pair since they're not rare. i expect to hear from you for my shipping address by the end of the day.
i don't always look at "rare" being a lower production number than another item. i look at how often something comes up for sale. i'm sure they made a lot more of those pro race arms, but when is the last time you've seen them come up for sale, nip, all by themselves? not in a lot with the chassis, bulkhead, etc. i honestly couldn't tell you. i've only seen 2 come up at all in the last few years. one was paul's pro graphite chassis set on ebay a few months back, the other was actually my pro graphite chassis set like 2 years ago. i got a pro molded chassis from roger a couple months ago and i'm already thinking of unloading it. there was only one person i thought of that would possibly have a pair..... and he doesn't anymore. so interest in it was gone real quick.
rich listed a pair of those jg arms all by themselves on ebay last year.
at least those would be somewhat easy to have made since they're just machined. i'm sure you could probably find someone that has them not for sale and get measurements and a tracing.

That request has been in my wanted thread for half a year now and I'm still looking.scr8p wrote:...

I recall seeing a NIP pair of Pro Race arms in the past year as well...and more than a few used. Last pair of used JG arms I've seen were on a converted RC10 and before that was 2 years ago from RC-Waffle.
Coincidentally, if I did find JG front arms to get repro'd, they could also potentially work like a set of Jake's arms on a Pro-Race front bulkhead and correct for B4 wheel offset.

Re: Box O' Stuff
Rears might be but the fronts are longer. The guy who had the ultra molded version on his converted truck I believe said they were ~63mm long. About the same length as B2 carpet arms from Dynotech. Rears are just under 3" long.

Re: Box O' Stuff
Gee, you guys sure know how to make someone feel optimistic...
Actually, I was thinking of selling/trading the chassis anyway, I already have a bunch of projects.
