Browsing through ebay, I think I may have found the exact replica/copy of my chassis for sale and the proper color name too. Candy Blue Team car it is and its listed for $125.00 mint, buy it now. My impulsiveness tell's me to buy it, buy it, buy it, but my whoa whoa stop and think it through side tells me to hold off for now. Not sure when a mint exact chassis like this will ever come up again? I also have another gold pan lined up, so I might just save my money for the complete gold pan... although a mint candy blue chassis would look nice on my shelf. uggh decisions... lol

those parts are re-anodized. not a factory thing more than likely. you can see the truck nose plate has some washout, and it doesn't match the factory team blue, which is the only way the truck noseplate was available in blue.

looks nice, but you can get any chassis re-anodized for cheaper if you shop around.

Hmmm ok good catch I never noticed it, would have been nice if it was original. Eh I think I'll just get the Gold pan setup. Re-anodizing??? I will have to shop around to see if thats an option here.

Well the runner is almost complete, I've upgraded the old am radio to a Spektrum radio/rec and also have changed out the Novak/Trinity brushed setup to a brushless. I bit the bullet and just had to try the RC10 with a brushless system. So I Picked up a TrackStar esc and Turnigy 4000kv motor off the web. Plugged everything where its supposed to be and wow the car does have alot more pickup than normal even as I'm still using NiMH batt's :) Anyways a few more additions still waiting on a CF trans brace, and still havent gotten around to install the front CF shock tower yet.... :) I'm always on ebay scouring for parts, little things like spare arms, ball cups.. :) and one day the diff will need a good cleaning/rebuilding but not after I have a little fun with it first. :)

Finally got around the shock tower replacement, I remembered why I never installed it earlier. The ball cups rub from the steering crank onto the ball cups on the shock tower. Now either I buy a new steering crank, one with a shorter neck as per say, or get a different shock tower? Anyways shock tower installed but ran into a hiccup, ahh well all the better get to buy more new stuff for it. :)

Well a few months of looking at all your great ideas, builds and other peoples wonderful doings on their own RC10's kudo's to all they all look great. Here is my 99% finished project, notice I never put it at 100, because there's always that last upgrade out there. Few upgrades here and there for my buggy and its ready, here's a few pics of the finished project and one pic of what it looked like before the fun began.
