We did alter the rules slightly as I stated in this post in the comments thread, but in case you didn't see that here it is:

a little heads up....

just to make it easier, we have decided to only take the first 10 vehicles that are submitted each month. this way there is only 1 poll that needs to be set up.

but i would like to get an idea of how many of you guys would actually submit a vehicle and be part of the contest. so for this first month, don't worry about the whole "10" thing. just submit your entry so we can get an idea of car count. if we have 20-30 submitted, i may be willing to go with 20 cars, 2 separate polls as a semi, then take the top 10 for the finals. just like the test run was done.

I'm just getting this thread started so it's here. You must wait to submit your entries until August 1st. And please, no chit chat in here.

PS - EvilAsh, while your car is a roller, I really wouldn't call it a "complete" roller with the lack of a steering bellcrank and steering arms. We'll let it go this time, but I just wanted to point it out as future reference for everybody.

i removed it to make it easier. there were 11 entries and i didn't want to make 2 separate polls with 5 in one and 6 in the other to come up with a top 10. we can only have 10 choices in the poll.

it's no biggie, i'll enter it.... or something else next month.
