Anybody around Pewaukee, Wisconsin?

Post by Mr. ED »

I've been working in this neck of the woods for 2 weeks and have some time off this weekend.
If anybody's around, not too far, I wouldn't mind talking some (vintage) rc, visit a hobby shop , or have a beer

I'm only 6 hrs and 51 minutes away. My grill and fridge are always ready when anyone stops by.

If your still in town for the weekend you might want to check out the ihobby show in Schaumburg, IL. It's a approx an 1-1/2 hour drive from where you are. I really wanted to go but am going to be out of town all weekend.

Trackside Raceway is in Brookfield, WI and is close to where your staying, you might want to stop by and check it out.

Wow, thanks!

There's a swap meet at the track on Sunday too. Sounds perfect to me.

Double thanx Greenhell
I picked up a battered XX at the swap for a sweet price.

It's missing a gearcover and bumper , but apart fom that just some rust and a little repair on the servo topdeck. Should be easy enough to get it running again. Did RPM make a gearcover for the XX?
I know where to find a new body, but ... I ran this car with the original body for about 2 years loooong ago, so this time I may try something else.
