Re: 91 Masami Stealth replica COMPLETED!!!!!!
Thank you both (Niki and Jake) for making one of my dreams come true. I'm having fun with my build and I see my chassis is on the way!

Re: 91 Masami Stealth replica COMPLETED!!!!!!
Me and minimini have been talking about making a pseudo 91 car for a few years and we came to conclusion that it is hard...
So we thank the team for getting this 91 car come to life.

Re: 91 Masami Stealth replica COMPLETED!!!!!!
Niki, I had a lot of work in this car before I asked for your assistance. I never could have achieved the level of detail without your work and you were able to make a cool project even better, so I thank you. I am not even sure I could have built a car for myself without your help.
I also wanted to thanks all the folks here who showed interest in the car and have order the kits. I initially did not want to do a production run on these but after talking to Niki, I decided to go for. All of you guys can thank Niki, since he was the one who drove me over the edge on selling the kits.
I really look forward to seeing the cars built and even ran. It is going to be really nice to see the different versions that you guys come up with. I will also start my runner as well, but not until I fulfill all the outstanding orders that are left to fill.

Re: 91 Masami Stealth replica
Ok, now there is something i regret selling, the rear wheels, had a few sets of them on my B2 so if none are available any chance these can be made as well.Niki wrote:I agree 8rad, I couldn't build one and never drive it.
This PA2200 SLS material Shapeways uses flex more than standard molded or extruded nylon. Still it's really strong and viscous. I have seen JQ racing with his prototype cars SLS arms attached. Even with 8-scale nitro buggy! In this project - when the look is critical - SLS arm will flex more than it probably flexed in original Stealth car. Still the car will be driveable... full attack. If more arm stiffness is wanted, wall thickness of arm geometry can be increased. All other SLS parts will be just perfect like that for a runner. Last winter I drove my B2 Graphite project car weekly hours and hours. Not a single problem with SLS front and rear chassis bulkheads. And as you all know - indoor offroad track isn't gentle for cars.
Here you are... clear view mockup car... in day lights this time

Re: 91 Masami Stealth replica COMPLETED!!!!!!
I once asked in The Official "What is it?" Thread if someone knew about these rear wheels. I got no answers.
So what are those? I have one pair and no idea of manufacturer, model or name.
Nice thing about modern rapid prototyping methods - almost anything can be made. Also designs not possible to make with traditional manufacturing methods.
For example cover those inside ribs and that way prevent dirt from sticking inside the wheel. Keep the outside as it is. That would be nice I think...

...Oh, I think you just did

Ok wheels were made in one of these countries, Noway, Sweden, Finland, I think Sweden and have had a few sets, wheels were better than kit versions and would be up for buy a pair if any are up for grabs. Would like a pair for my 91 kit
