New member, ive been having fun collecting traxxas Rad2 + m
Hi all been reading for a while seems a good site im reliving my 90's as a teen when I had a rustler and a bandit so picked up two A Stamp editions over the last couple of months which has lead to a unhealthy obsession starting off once again!
Ended up with a mint rad2 missing the battery strap (standard lol) and a black parts rad with a flat optional chassis fitted with a trx1 shell really light I had hoped it was a trx1 as advertised but was quick to decide no it wasnt which is a shame as I was/still after one!
received the body from Canida last night for the white Rad so wasted no time painting it up! doesnt fit all that great with the backend being too short which means I now need to fit a body post in behind the xl1!
Im after a few things though! Im in need of some new battery cups, at least one for the flat rad and the std rad I think would really look 90s awful (which is great!)with the hot pink wheels but finding a set seems very hard work as of yet!
Hopefully hears some pics!

Re: New member, ive been having fun collecting traxxas Rad2
there are some trx1 style battery cups on ebay right now. pretty pricey.
The associated rc10 cups also fit the same, the hole spacing is really really close. by extension, you can use the battery straps also, including for the rad2 tub.
you can also dye the white wheels pink. while they won't look exactly like the factory wheels molded in pink, you can certainly get them nice and bright.
nice cars, welcome back to the addiction.

Hi guys, cheers for the tip Re, RC10 Battery cups, I did wonder so will pcik a pair of those up as they are cheaper and easier to find! Im in the UK.
The truck is just an A series Rustler, good solid fun though, all the cars are fitted with XL1 speedos and 20turn stingers, except for the Flat chassis rad which Ive just fitted and tried a brushless 9t system which is really impressive!!
looking forward to the summer now, or at least some dry weather!
