Sooo, I just spazzed and bought two USA stealth cases from Amain, quite literally because you guys were talking about hogging them up. I have a smooth turning white stealth I bought off ebay a year ago that's going into my drilled gold A-stamp. Since the ebay stealth was used, its presumably vintage. Are its internals what I would use in my new USA stealth cases?

Hi Peter,

Here is the re-released Worlds manual, page 8 for the gearbox parts.

http://teamassociated.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/RC10WC/Worlds_Car/RC10WC-Manual-update

Here is the original Worlds manual, page 17 and 18 for early gearbox parts.

http://teamassociated.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/RC10/Worlds_Car/WorldsCar_manuala.pdf

Every thing is interchangeable but the idler gear.

Cheers, Dave. :)

Hi Peter,

The new stealth has a B4 top shaft and V2 slipper.

The early stealth uses the earlier top shaft and slipper set-up.

Both are interchangeable as a set.

B4 top shaft goes with V2 slipper.

Early top shaft goes with early slipper set-up.

Cheers, Dave. :)

Another perfect reference, thanks mate.

OT: I've stripped down my gold tub, removed all the old gritty foam two-sided tape, and used a spare B-stamp as a drill guide to drill the stealth holes in my 30yo A-stamp. Gonna start putting it back together with the World's front setup and stock (but stealh RC10 rear). By the time I've finished with this thing I might as well have bought a rere WC.

Grow by themselves. LOL. Pics tomorrow. I reckon I should start a proper thread and not hijack others.
