Here you go...I also added it to my original post. Appears to be one of the handmade Hydradrives...I'd love to see the inside but I seriously doubt Gary would let me tear it opendrbelleville wrote:Not to sound nosy, seeing the gear cover, was there a hydra drive fitted and was it the same as all others? Thanks for all the great photos and info.

Re: 1991 Prototype Worlds Car Pics
I know this is one of the older threads on the board but it would be great to see someone have a go at a tribute/ replica of this '91 prototype. Looking at some of the handmade parts, it would certainly prove be quite a challenge....

With the '91 Stealth RC10 clone being completed, I think it's time to bring this back up in the hopes that someone makes one. It would be neat to see this go up against a Stealth at the Vonats!

Losi was still using their six gear tranny in 91/92? when did they start using their three gear tranny?

Re: 1991 Prototype Worlds Car Pics
It was obviously available on the XX which was released in '93 but it must have been around prior to this while it was being track tested and developed so the two were no doubt around at the same time.Rootdown4594 wrote:Losi was still using their six gear tranny in 91/92? when did they start using their three gear tranny?

Re: 1991 Prototype Worlds Car Pics
Really interesting pics, thank You for sharing them. Those pics really shows well steering parts.
It would be interesting to know how close the front bukkhead in this car is to XX front bulkhead.
The last pic is really "odd", is Gil turning "topdeck" about 90-degrees upwards?
