My chain gang
Best friends!
Best friends... ummm....naked...
The kyosho is almost finished, and will be run once before I restore it. The Kawada needs a few things but all in all is in great shape. It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: My chain gang
Good stuff. The Wolf Looks like it has a better front one way setup. The only thing I didn't like on the Fantom was the really long front left driveshaft which always had more drag than the short right hand one. Mine would always track slowly to the left on long straights.
Now you'll have to get an AYK to add to your chain gang.

Re: My chain gang
i love the wolf, such cool cars. i really wanted to race one in our old open mini 4wd class (1/12-1/18 scale) but they are hard to come by and parts are even harder to find.
i still want one though, just for taking laps and as a convesation piece.

Re: My chain gang
the fantom is almost ready for a spin. I last ran a Fantom in around 90, and the kawada in late 90's (we sold them at Tammies)

Re: My chain gang
Nice! I actually had one of those Kawada Porsches back in the 90s. Got it dirt-cheap on clearance sale, with no instructions or decal sheet. Ran the snot out of it on the tennis courts at my apartment. It ran great, but the chain kept wearing a groove in the shrink-wrap on my batteries...

Re: My chain gang
I assumed it was the stock Fantom body, I'll have to have a closer look. Based on how little the car was used I would assume stock
