Team Associated Japanese Spec. RC10 Gear Cover

Hi Guys and Girls,

I thought I would share with you some photo's of my Team Associated/Yokomo RC10 Gear Cover.

I am not sure if any of you are familiar with this piece but I know that Masami Hirosaka used this style of gear cover on his RC10's in the early 1990's (Vintage Article: Masami's 1991 World Championship RC10). Besides seeing it on Masami's car, I have never seen this gear cover before. If anyone has any more information, I would be glad to hear it.

The differences between this gear cover and the original grey RC10 gear cover that I have noticed is that the Yokomo cover is made of a thicker material (still flexible though), does not have 'raised fins' like the original gear cover, is not translucent like the original cover and the black slipper clutch hole button has been replaced by a red button.

Just found one of these in an old box of RC parts I have. Kind of funny I would have one. .

Sure, the 6608S have red and white color. I have them for many years. it's old

If someone is willing to loan me one of these covers, I can make a few duplicates, and return the original. Attached is one I made from an early RC10 cover. As you can see, the original cover I have (black) is not in ideal condition, but produced a very nice copy.

I will be posting soon to the sell section a limited production run of covers with the red caps. The gear cover will be based on the early RC10 style cover. If I can get a hold of the Japanese version, I can offer these with a royalty fee going to the owner:)
