One of my 1st gen GT'S (all original)

Post by vintageguy »

This is one of my 1st gen GT's. It is original (not restored). The flash was on when picture was taken so the plastics appear to be brighter than they actually are. However, they are not "yellowed" by any means.
The front & rear arms do have minor rash on them. I have more arms and intended to change them soon.

Sure will.

My other 1st gen GT is low use as well but looks horrible. All of the plastic yellowed, towers are stained, etc.
That one is going to be restored slowly. I'm going with an 80's theme on it.

I'm working on my third one right now (somewhat).
2003 production FT/GT kit. It's going to be a "mod" build. Below is a list of a few details about it.
1. Trinity motor mount / trans brace
2. Trinity shock mounts (lower)
3. Racers edge post mounts (still looking for Trinity mounts)
4. REX R12-R2 motor (new)
5. Trinity rear arm mounts
6. Hard anodized chassis
7. A few other bits to come.

Once I get to building it up I will start a thread for it.

This is a current picture of my all original 1st gen GT. I have had several people ask me if I'd sell it. I would since I have others I'm more attached too.

However, I need to wait for my ebay message to be accepted before using the B/S/T section. I hope it is soon because I'd like to possibly buy something if it catches my attention and officially list a few of my items as well.

Thanks. It does have a few flaws due to the one race it ran. Overall, it is very clean.
