going to build this one with the help of mike ellis AKA (mike the painter of skull racing) hes going to do the paint i have included some pics of the orginal truck. the pics from the ad look a little different with the added race prep sticker, stock painted wheel disc, sliver spings and losi frt tires which u can see 2 of the ribs were cut out. i think iam going to make it look like the race track pic instead. so far have a lxt parts truck and most of the stickers. the onlys ones I NEED is the big trinity one, the orange trinity one and those number plates. have no idea where those lxt letters are from?? this should be fun will update as i go on. any help on this would be great
a small update. mci got these done for me. theirs a couple missing which i have once done ill send to mci so he can make a complete sheet so if anyone else wants to do this they will be for sale soon. mike just recieved the body and chassis, which will be milled out the same as kyles was since mike didnt have anymore left for sale from his stash. i hope to have the truck complete within the next 3-4 will update with pics
its paint, once its all done mci wants to reproduce the skull in a sticker, but i have to let mike know before i send any pics to mci since its mikes trademark.
their were either 4 ot 5 of these milled and lightened chassis made. this team chassis was drilled and milled for lightness by Kyle Reed at the factory. all of them were made a little different. iam going to make it a lxt (since i have this really...

I have a chassis laying around that looks just like yours without the milling. I've always considered it a piece of junk, but your chassis drill holes are damn near identical. Weird.
I haven't seen this one attempted yet, and I have a spare Pro SE gathering dust, so what the heck. I will probably be pulling from a lot of you guys here for help on finishing up the details.
I am trying to keep close to the car that Kyle drove,...

The rear I believe is a composite craft.
Can someone confirm if this is indeed a Composite craft SE tower?
Oh and hows this going Brandon? Been a couple of years.
Well, I call this a triumph project because it is what is left of my triumph from over the years. The front arms and the slipper clutch & ball diff... and that is it. The rest is pretty much hand-built. BITD a company made an after market kit for...

I managed to score a A pan six gear car this weekend for $60 from my brother. I hope to take this :
And make it look (sort of) like this:
It's my first RC10 from ~1987-89 time frame. The pics are two different vintages of it. I had dyed all...

OK, I ended up finding a chassis that was a dead ringer for my old car, and I gave a half hearted effort into finding the Texaco decals but came up short. I put this together mainly as a rebuild to sell but I think it's a close replication of the...
First pics as I start my LXT build... JRXT was actually my first kit and after a couple weeks assembling I finally made it to the track for the first time and everyone was racing their new LXTs!! I was so frustrated but kept racing my JRXT while...

No update, likely be awhile before this project goes any further, I plan to bring several vehicles (JRX2/PRO/SE/XXCR/XXTCR) to this stage then finalize shelfing details from that point... Have body and wheels ready to go though!
Haven't had much...
I'm starting on a project that I've been meaning to do for a long time. It has some interesting components to it and should turn out pretty cool when its done. This project has evolved into a tribute to my Andy's race car that I raced back in the...
I am finally unveiling a project that I've been collecting parts for for a good 3 years now. It is far from being finished as I have been also waiting for ages for the main part: a full tube/cage chassis that has been in the works for nearly two...
