Re: Tire/wheel upgrade
If you want to use the T4 bones, you would have to use T4/B4 rear hubs if I'm correct . T4 bones are longer ...

Re: Tire/wheel upgrade
So I'm having trouble finding a Cvd for my RC10T. Is it possible to rebuild my stealth tranny with. T4 ball dif and use the T4 Cvd to upgrade my rear? I can't find any measurements for any truck parts lately.

Re: Tire/wheel upgrade
My apologies, I did not realize that link to mip was a necro posting on their site. To piece together a set of cvd's for your truck you would need the following;
- Associated 9598 MIP CVD Axle (2) SC10 RC10B4 RC10T4 RC10Gt
- Associated 7381 CVD Driveshaft/Drive-Shaft Rebuild Kit: RC10 T4.1/T4/T3/T2
- Two - Associated 7379 CVD Bone T2/Gt ASC7379
Those are actually available on ebay and likely other places and would be a drop in upgrade to your truck, a little more expensive to piece the cvd's together.. but older rc tends to cost more :/ Along with that you will need
- 4x 3/16 x 3/8 x 1/8 axle bearing
- Associated 7377 axle bearing spacers
- and I believe you can use the Associated 9608 wheel spacer to get rid of those thin shims.
I verified all those are actually available this time :p

Re: Tire/wheel upgrade
Well I would recommend the b4 slipper setup and likely a diff rebuild kit depending on condition of your diff. Basically you want your slipper to slip before the diff does irregardless of the power your motor puts out. If your diff slips you melt diff gears, if your slipper slips.. well it's doing what it was designed to do
While many of the newer power systems will allow your car to wheelie, the offroad racing cars were not designed to do that and the weight bias requires more torque then the car was designed to handle to do this.
