If anyone is in eastern Washington, B&B Hobbies in Spokane still has one Worlds kit. Almost bought it for myself, but I have enough cars.
Watcha doin in Spokane? I actually love going to Spokane, plus A A Ron lives there!

I was there for work. When I travel I try to visit the local hobby shops just to see what they have. I picked up a t-shirt, tire zip stix, some tires and wheels, and glue.

Darn it, I sold one of these not long ago for like $175. Now I am moving from my Losi phase into RC10's and want it back. So are these really all gone then forever?

Yes, discontinued. You can still find them in the $250 range for a new sealed kit. Which is what they went for when they came out. So it's not as bad the classic kits.

Ahh yes, I see them on EBAY around $280. I'll bite the bullet. I have a hankering to build one for a new carpet offload track that opened nearby.

I have finally found a source myself. Local source willing to sell to me for $250 cash for NIB. 240 if I take 3 or more. LOL. I just can't bring myself to buy more than 2 right now.

It's cheaper than the retail price of them in the mid 90's at the end of the day, so a bargain really.

There is at least one nib and one built on rctech.net. Of course they are on the bay as well. I'm still on the fence about buying one.
