Re: Modded Gold pan CE build
Nice build. The 6gear CE was my first car. I hope to recreate that car in the not to distant future.

Re: Modded Gold pan CE build
Ok assembled the shocks temporarily dry will install new orings and oil this weekend. Trying to decide if i like the gold caps or if i want to put the black caps on.
Re: Modded Gold pan CE build
I gotta say black caps. Before I even read the caption I noticed the caps looked out of place. Or the shock body. One or the other needs a different look. But man. That is sexy. I need to do some serious cleaning on mine.

Re: Modded Gold pan CE build
Well, it’s your beautiful car so the choice is entirely up to you. However, to my eye, it’s the shock bodies that look sorta out of place. Just seems that a gold pan car should have gold shocks. The black tub and the graphite cars always seem to look better with dark shocks - imho. Either way, I still think it’s looking great - certainly much better than the CE I'm restoring at the moment.

Re: Modded Gold pan CE build
Im going to switch back to the black caps for now until i can either find some nice gold shocks or have these re anodized in gold or leave them.
