Gulf Yokomo YZ-834b
I'm quite pleased with this one , I rather botched the first Dogfighter body I made for my YZ-834b so I had another go , I'm still waiting for the decals but this is what I have so far.

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

4 best liveries ever to grace racecars: #1 Gulf - #2 Martini - #3 Alitalia - #4 Texaco.

The Lancia Stratos in Alitalia colours is one of the most awesome cars of all time and part of the reason for this choice was one of my friends is planning a Martini livery for his Cat XLS !

Re: Gulf Yokomo YZ-834b
Here's a few comparison pictures from the old TBG body i did 2 years ago and the new one , its largely from reading posts on here about the techniques you guys use that I've managed to to get better results so a big thank you to everybody for sharing , this is a modest design compared to many on this section of the forum but still I'm happy with the result .

There is one thing that I did to practice that I've never heard mentioned other people doing , I wanted to try some techniques without destroying a new body , just practising masking with various types of mask and painting with very thin coats etc until i was happy i could reliably get a reasonable result, so I practised on cut up Fizzy drink bottles , it really helped just trying things out without risking ruining anything , seeing what can go wrong like checking that masking tape has not lifted between coats etc .
