Bent tub with complimentary vise and pliar marks. At least the paint is nice and new.

My nose plate arrived in the mail and it wasn't what I expected. I had to strip off the old paint, cut, sand, polish and paint it again to make it half decent.
I kinda dig the gold AE logo.

Yeah, the tub was bent and previously straightened with pliars etc. I checked it on a piece of glass and got it as straight as I could but is still a bit wavey.

I dug through my parts box to see where it went. I tried the black thing but wasn't feeling it.

I think The all black looks great. Maybe if you didn't want all black you could break it up with polishing the edges of the tub? either way I like it.

Although the black material is stonger I just couldn't connect with it,
So,
I went white.
I definately like the white better and can finally start building a car out of it. Hopefully the white makes it faster. I may polish the edges, gotta see how the car transpires.

We'll start with 3* arm mounts and new rear arms. Look how wavy the tub is....

Next we'll install lipo rear bulkhead and carbon works rear tower. Rear bulkhead has been drilled for worlds roll center.

Followed by some fancy hubs, Lundsford turnbuckles and beefy RPM ball cups.

Re: My OIN Worlds whatever you want to call it racer.
Although I was trying to avoid CVA's all together I tried the B44 rear CVA's as they were the closest. They are still slightly too long but I think I can make them work with a few modifications if need be.
My main plan is hoping I can convice a machinist friend to knock up a set of CVD bones. If neither work out the last resort is to cut and shorten a set of B4 CVD bones.

When a few of us were running the alloy hubs for the B4, we had to machine them extensively to make them work without slamming into the drive cups-
Just a heads up if you didn't consider it-- RC10th

Lots of axle support there
But you have to do what you do to make things work. I knew it was a risk but it seems like there are ways around it.
