Re: Painted up a body for my T4
I have two vintage stickers from one of my trucks as a kid.... Ive been looking for two more...
I may just end up with modern tires.
Can't wait to see that one stickered up. Im wondering about the MCI decals because I need a set myself.

The MCI stickers aren't 100% as far as original but they are still pretty good considering, I've used them before and have no complaints. Mine were shipped a while ago so they can't be too far away.

Re: Painted up a body for my T4
This Bud's for you
My sticker sheet finally came in and was the perfect size so I couldn't be happier. The real truck is sticker bombed to the hilt and I wanted this to look a bit cleaner. All in all I think it came out great. Also, since I can't find strikers these cut Street Trac tires look the part and are growing on me. I found a new set of street trac's but they are just out of my budget at this point in time.
I also found a set of gold rear 1.39 shock bodies to round out the 80's theme but am still trying to find some 1.02 fronts.
I'm also thinking of putting an 8.5T motor in it and taking it off boost to detune the truck a little. It's a bit too hard to resist pulling the trigger that little bit too much when your on the edge of out of control. With a modern body wheels and tires I wouldn't care but I want to make this last.

Re: Painted up a body for my T4
Thanks guys. Like Todd I used to watch this sort of stuff on TV all the time.
My favorite was when TNN motorsport was on non stop Friday nights, everything from swamp bugies, to stadium trucks to monster trucks and more.

That was so fun to watch growing up. I can’t think of how many hours I have behind the wheel of that Ivan Stewart off road racing game at the bowling alley while my mother was in a league.

No doubt, I recently bought a copy for my NES so I could play it more!
This truck turned out pretty awesome! Are you going to drive it?

Re: Painted up a body for my T4
That was my favorite game at the arcade, giving the wheel a big spin
I bought the game for my Game Gear but it's not the same without the wheel.
Thanks, I do intend to run it
You should also pick up Stunt Race FX, fun game and the cars look like RC cars with eyes... lol

Re: Painted up a body for my T4
After days of searching I finally found this truck again. If your still interested I can take some pictures and details of what I've done to mount a couple different bodies on the T4 series.
