Re: Do you have a defender?
I’ve had my TRX-4 for a while now. The chassis has been solid. I haven’t broke anything yet. The servos and esc are junk. The servo for shifting between high and low stripped it’s gears. So did the replacement. Plastic steering horn splines stripped. After installing an aluminum servo horn then the servo gears stripped. The esc finally gave up the ghost after an intense day of rock crawling. Despite the lame radio gear I’d buy one again again. I think it’s a good value for what you get

Re: Do you have a defender?
The TRX4 is a great truck but there are a bunch of others just as good and better. My SCX10ii is way more nimble. The TRX4 is way better than the RC4WD Gelande

This was a recent rock crawl with my sons where the esc the TRX4 died. I plan to switch out the servos and esc/motor with some quality stuff and use a lighter weight body.
