Removing foam tires?
Best way to remove foam tires from rims? Working on RC12L and putting rubber tires on, thanks.

It's possible, but I guess I assumed he was removing dried out or worn out Foams.
I have seen Acetone give life to tires (sometimes).

I've read from other members' experiences on here that acetone, even just the fumes, CAN ruin old foam tires. It won't affect nylon or rubber, though.

I’m going to put on rubber on tires, foam tires are dry and cracked.

It all depends.
I have had some loosen up in 30 minutes, full soak method not vapor.

I've done it a few times to remove CA glue and stubborn servo tape adhesive remnants from chassis plates, leaving it in the bag for 24 hours. That worked for me both times.
