I've got a T4 that I built a long time ago and I've thought about breaking out again and using however RC world has changed in a big way. Now tires use the setup that Traxxas was using, brush less has taken over, and we don't have to have crystals anymore. All these things were either just being talked about or where so new that it would break the bank to buy. So that brings me back to my T4. I've still got the old setup of tires and electronics. The tires I'll have to replace due to age which isn't a problem but rims maybe an issue and the electronics are way out dated but I could still use the receiver and remote I would just have to buy more crystals but new motor and speed control are in order. However what about parts that break such as arms and shock towers, where do I get them? I guess what I'm asking is do I go through to make working again for something that I may not be able to fix later or just get a newer one and are parts backwards compatible?
I bought a T4 last year and have replaced the electronics with a brushless system for running at the local outdoor track. I've had no issues so far sourcing parts from amainhobbies (search for "associated t4") or eBay. I'm pretty sure amain has the wheels for the stock T4 (drive pin rears and bearing fronts) available. I updated my T4 to use hex wheels. I would suspect that few if any parts are backwards compatible from the T6 (or T5).
Alright I believe all of my parts to complete this build are now here. I don’t quite know why I’m even doing building this as it’s not old and I didn’t grow up wanting it. But I love nitro stadium trucks and the nitro conversion really hit home for...

Love this truck, excellent job. I've been eyeing these conversions off for a while, I'd love a gas truck one day, but think I'd prefer an earlier GT, but 1 of these to be able to have a run with would definitely be cool
Hey guys, I hope everyone is doing well! Just been researching how to get hex wheels on my two RC10GT’s and I have a few questions. I’ve seen all the posts about the T4 hex axle swap but can only find one auction on eBay for the parts I would need....

I’ll do some researching but I think I’ll try and get them to work, can’t find many decent options for a good price!
I love the washers, they look awesome too. Bought the complete B4 bearing carriers with axles, spacers and CVD’s for $40 USD,...
Can the RC10T4.1 run in low to medium grass? My Goldpan can't on my Castle Creations sct system, so ie as wondering if the T4.1 could due to its long arms and shocks and bigger tires. Will it just fish tail around the yard or will it actually be...

I've had a couple of threads around here filled with my cars issues but they seem to be some hard ones to fix. I'll try repairing the diff and giving urban new washer and Ill play with the shocks and weight distribution and see how that goes.
I recently bought an RC10T4.3 stadium truck and I am extremely happy with it, it runs super smooth and stable.
I was expecting a little bit more speed (just a bit more) but since it’s a RTR combo it came optimized with gearing for...

Great to hear you're back on track with the ESC recalibration. Keep in mind that, all else being equal, the higher you gear up for top speed, the slower your acceleration will be. You can compensate for this somewhat by adjusting your ESC Punch...
Hey guys, some who've seen my previous posts may already know this, but I just got into the hobby back in December when my son and I got a couple of Traxxas RTR cars. I'm a tinkering junkie, so I could not resist the temptation at a garage sale to...
Was given a used t4 today.I am a buggy guy...but it's in such good shape..it's hard to not go over it and make it a runner.
It has no body and I am having a hard time finding info on what (if any) available bodies
fit it.
Can someone point me in...

Hey...sorry I was having log in issues.
Standard stadium truck body.
Nothing crazy modern...just something that fits the chassis mounts well.
It may all be a moot point though because I lost the right rear body/wing mount and I am not paying $25+...
I've been waiting on a day off for the past 6 months to sit down and really enjoy the build.
My camera is broken and can't focus so these are the best I can do.......

Thx for the nostalgia! It takes me back to my '05 build. I still have it. I like how you mixed old and new, then topped it off with an original body. Looks sweet.
