Shock Ball ends.

Hi: I have been trying to get "Shock ends" or "Ball ends" for my builds.I need a bunch of them..RC 10.I can't find any online...sold out.I'm talking about the Threaded part of the Shock Shaft that screws into the mount,and the ball inside.

I found some Dubro mounts on Tower's site,they are 4-40,and have the mounting ball...anyone ever used those?

The originals are going to be hard to find now as the source is drying up. You can use alternative ones from associated and run a nut behind the ball to approximate the built in spacer on the original. The ones you mentioned will also work with the same spacing.

I've seen these used to eliminate the risk of a ball cup popping off but It doesn't appear to be a common upgrade around here. Are they preferable?

All, I have an a stamp rc10 that I am trying to restore to make a runner. It needs new tie rods, cups, and the ball ends. Where can I get this stuff? The car is going to be a runner so the parts don't need to be original production. I even thought...

Thanks for the offer, but I am looking at 8 for each car so 3 is a pretty minimal amount. Thought they might have been used on a different buggy and still be available...ebay search for ball ends in RC section returns 1,873 results but no bueno.

Hey guys, I'm getting steadily better around the track with the Castle-powered T4, which means I'm getting more air on the jumps and landing hard more often… This means that when I catch a front tire funny, I'm popping (ripping actually) the ball...

Thanks guys. Just to clarify, I'm actually pulling the threaded end of the turnbuckle from the shaft of the plastic ball cup. I keep pulling the left rear outboard one, which of course results in the dog bone flying off on its own.

Im in need of some Tamiya rode ends and ball joints. ( steering assembley)

Have found a Hobby shop that sell the rod ends but dont list any ball joints.

I need these for a Tamiya project with the up grade steering im planing.

and idea on how to remove the ends on the shafts. Ive tried using pliers to hold the shaft as hard as possible and turn the other side with another set but no matter how hard I squeeze or turn. Nothing budges?

My guess now is that there locktite on...

Decided to test a 3mm end on the shock shaft, just slide over like nothing was there. Gonna have to use the 4-40 ends on the other site. I'm gonna hope the description about it being 4-40 is right.

Hi guys, first post. I have some Associated shocks (V1?) from my B4 fitted onto an old Yoke MR4BC. It could do with a bit more droop, do Associated do a slightly longer shock rod end, say 3-4mm longer? The standard ones I have are 13mm from the end...

So I bought a couple of well used JRX2's and both of them have some issues with the lower rear shock ends. One is just broken and the other one has an oddball, possibly home made end. What do I look for to replace these? Are there any aftermarket...
