kyosho bandido clean up/restore

got this from markbt73. she's been abused so now its time for some love! not a big fan of this buggy but the body sold me. got some new parts coming to replace the broken ones. here she is now the chsssis is in a bath to strip off the white paint. added a new mabuchi 540rs/sh motor.

Your COX car is actually called an Ultra Stock, it shares many parts with a Bandido :wink:

the body's a cox ultra stock and yes the chassis is like 90% the same this chassis is from a bandido.

Ok, you win, guess those are Bandidio wheels - don't see that body too often. But I think I did see that it is being re-popped :roll:

well got the paint stripped and its back to red! :D i also ordered some new chrome wheels the ones i have are ok, but like every project wind up spending more money ugh :(

You might spend some money but it will be worth it in the end...that's what I like about this hobby :!:

here she is all cleaned up with a new battery cover, frt lower mount/frt arms, rear arms, swapped out the frt bumper with this style i had and added a rc10 driver, since i have a couple doing nothing in a box. just waiting on a new chrome wheel set to arrive in the mail to finish it up!

Apart from Kyosho spare parts, are there compatible dogbones and axle cup joints?



The original parts are expensive and hard to find.
