This sounds great. I don't remember brushless motors back in 1994 though.

Hartford, CT for national flights (Bradley Airport), NYC for international (JFK, or LaGuardia) There are about 4 or 5 hotels right up the road from the track in the middle of downtown Waterbury as well.

If I can work it out, it will be taking advantage of my Sky-miles. But watch, by then, they'll disolve those programs as the economy continues to tank.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Yes Tamiya reissues will be allowed. The design hasn't been modified and electronics are open so there's no reason not to let them run.mikedealer wrote:would a "re-re frog" for example be permitted as a entry... obviously its post 94 but the parts are essentially the same as the original
It was a consideration but mod class = broken old cars with no parts on the wall. Beyond that this track is perfect for stock. You'd be hard pressed to run more the 19t to any avail in there. Venue was selected bc it is a very vintage car friendly size and design. Racing there is very close and the track is very old school in layout and style. Trust me you guys will love it!Spiderman wrote:no mod class?

Where you hanging out? I hear Waterbury is like Hollywood...hot chicks, clubs and 3 days of non-stop tweeking.Erich Reichert wrote:lol ya ya ya... but they're here to stay now! Hey, if you want to rebuild motors all weekend while we hang out knock yourself out
By the way guys, Southwest flies to Hartford and they're having some web specials...at least from So Cal. If you're adventurous, you can fly to Providence. It's a beautiful drive to back into Connecticut. Rent something like a nice GT of some sort.

Re: *** The official VINTAGE OFFROAD NATIONALS thread ***
so who's all going, and whatcha planning on running?
i'm real tempted to get my halsey replica done and race that, or one of my tq10's. i don't know, there's too many vehicle choices in my basement.

Re: *** The official VINTAGE OFFROAD NATIONALS thread ***
I have been looking up flights and toying with the idea of attending. Is there an offical unoffical list of who is planning on turning up, I don't want to pay to fly out if there is a low turn out. antoher question wil the track or someone allow us to ship our cars and tools so we don't have to try to get them on the plane I would rather just ship my stuff to the trac if they would allow it.
