Got some nice clean Tamiya rigs from my good friend Richard, which will become a couple of Christmas projects.

A couple bodies from OldRC.com.
Once again, quality is great. I've looked them over carefully and I can't find any flaws. Lexan is nice and thick as well.
Sure wish he'd start making Protech, Protech 2 and Viper bodies. AE certainly won't be making them again.

Two sets of wheels , the ones i wanted were the PB Mini Mustang wheels in used condition , they came with a set of 4 new Hot Shot rear wheels .
I just cleaned them up in the lath and they are not perfect but very usable in a runner , both sets together were paid for and delivered for under £20

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Had to actually go pick this up, rather than get it in the post... great deal from a mate of mine, a complete roller HB D216 modern 2wd race buggy, including extra wheels and wings, and an almost complete second buggy NIB for parts! All for a price so cheap, that I couldn't say no!
Going to be weird to actually run something produced this century..... NIB kit was missing four parts lots, two of which were included in the spares, and the other two which I ordered today (for about 1/3 of the cost of the whole lot!). Going to put gear in the roller and run it. Yep, I said it.... I'm going to run something!
Fingers crossed.....

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Visited a hobby shop over the weekend (not a usual occurrence here these days), and managed to snag this from the body shells pile... it's a Parma Peugeot 306 rally car body, designed for 1:10 rallycross (converted buggy) use. Only ever seen one other in a shop over here (and I bought that one too!).... might have to get one painted up.
Got a discount on the sticker price too!!!

Something completely different for me. This is my first Tamiya kit since the Sand Scorcher roughly 40 years ago.
I was looking at the Vaterra C10 Pickup but ended up with this instead - much cheaper and it's a kit rather than RTR.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I’ve actually had this for a little while now but I’ve been laying low in the RC world until recently. Was digging through boxes looking for stuff so I thought I’d take a couple pictures. I absolutely love the early era nitro stadium trucks. The RC10GT will always be my favorite. But I’d like to have a collection of them all. One day when I slow down a little bit I’ll set up a dedicated space to start playing with toy cars again and put this thing together, Box art style of course for me....
I hope the image size is good. It’s been a while since I’ve posted.

That Outlaw Rampage Pro is going to be sweet! You're lucky to have found one NIB.
Kyosho has re-released the ORP but as an electric 2wd trophy truck this time - different time, different market I guess.
Anyway, I'm gonna try the rally car thing.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Got this in the post today , nothing says "Vintage" like a Meccano bumper
Its got the 2mm screws for front spring tension , the slender front arms but the later gearbox with the solid cage mount , i'm quite happy to have the later gearbox as this will be a runner and the original tab cage mounts could be more vulnerable . Really not sure whats going to happen to it yet in the way of restore , might be a sand rail of some sort ....don't know

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Stoked to have picked up this lot of TRX-1 goodies. Highlights are diff/trans parts, front arms, decal sheet, and the CC chassis set w/shock towers. Unbelievable, really.
Hope you're doin' something fun.
