Fantastic build! As already said it looks like a new build rather than a car built from used parts 8) Love those wheels - very bright!!!

I've got the thin shock collers on my new-build car, they are quite hard to find, intact without splits etc (which is why i've ended up with 2x black & 2x grey collers on my car  ) so its good that you are replacing them on this car for the wider & more robust collers & saving the thin ones for the 'shelfer'

Really nice build. The chassis looks great.

One thing you have to watch out for when using those trinity wheels is that the fronts are 2.0. Most of the fronts out there are 2.1 or even 2.15. I wound up using fronts from a tamiya striker/falcon when I used those wheels on mine...since I wanted the standard rib vs. spike tires.

yes you are right, I put some losi front tyres and the rims where swimming in there.
I had a set of schumacher tyres and they fit pefect so just going to leave them on.

1 up for a nice build....that paint was a dead on match. love those wheels.
has anyone seen the old school lexan covers for the bottoms? or what we can do to protect the bottom a little bit?
I'm building a jrx2 runner and would like to preseve it as best I can.
Glad to be back in this hobby so many many years later. To see new things and to recollect on ALL cool vintage models!
As well as to BUILD :
