mocking up a belt drive setup using an old Nitro Brute clutchbell....waiting on parts but u get the idea.
The gear fell off the clutch yesterday when i was free revving it so i needed a better setup...plus the props will be spinning a tick slower than the crankshaft now (10t clutchbell/12t propshafts)whereas the other setup had them spinning 50% faster than the crank...the 1st and only lake test so far was a total disaster....water in the boat, wouldn't plane off, head gasket leaking oil into the boat, cracked engine mount, cracked starter control mount....am i missing anything😂 i got it all fixed except the belts/pulleys/clutch i am waiting on

If it was easy, anyone could do it. At least this toy has an internal combustion engine. I think that lessens the baby's toy effect.

How do you like those servos? I just ordered a couple because of their torque specs and waterproof-ness.

Yeah, but did it leave a big wake?? You could probably hear the neighbor's saying "He must have it souped up or something!"

A dry run, literally. I don't have much description because he has done so much to it that I can't keep up. The video is horrible, but the belt drive is really cool in person. No justice to it here.
