Novak NESC-4 questions

Post by flatspunout »

Does anyone know which wires are signal/+/- on the receiver plug? Mine are red/black/black, not white/red/black like most of the photos I've seen.

Also looking for a pot adjustment guide using a voltmeter, as the 4 has no LED.
Edit: Found an NESC-1X manual on CompetitionX...should be the same setup process, right?

Any help appreciated!

The red black black receiver wire is very probably airtronics. I have a tekin with an airtronics pigtail.

I don't know the pinout by heart but red is power, one black is signal and the other is gnd. Lots of servo pinouts found online between all the brands.

On the old Airtronics the pin out is: Red 6v; Black(middle) Gnd; Black (outside) Signal.

Thanks for the info. I ran all Futaba radio equipment back then, but I'm pretty sure the pinouts were the same.

Will do a little more digging but that gets me going in the right direction.
