Original stealth transmission, any differences ?

Post by MarkyDents »

If there’s no difference, why then would they mark the header card 10T? Clearly a later header logo, time period?

And to add further confusion to my search, check out what the AE site says it fits. :?

AE seems to have been pretty inconsistent in the labeling of parts. The numbers usually indicate if the parts works for an application.

What car are you trying to use this on? For the stealth transmission cases they will mostly work except the re-release cases change the idler gear configuration.

The 6565 is the correct case for app early 2.25 Stealth vehicles. The Worlds re-re used a different case and idler gear but the early parts are generally considered better.

As to the packaging, who knows? Saying that they were inconsistent would be an understatement. Being inconsistent is probably what they were most consistent at.
