Finished my top cat build
Finished my top cat build
Hi guys, i am a new member to rc10talk just want to introduce myself and my newly built top cat to you I have been collecting many of the cars i had when i was younger when i spotted this on ebay, as my birthday was geting nearer i pleaded with my wife to let me have it after some nagging she gave in It has taken a few extra weeks to get it built up as it was missing a few vital parts not what you want on a old kit but i have heard a few stories about missing parts from the top cat kits. I have got the shell painted in box art scheme and i am really happy with it. I have just got a cougar mark 1 that i am going to use as a runner and i am saving some pennies to get a gold tub rc10 in the near future enjoy the pics thanks James.

Re: Finished my top cat build
Very nice. I wish I'd bought a top cat back in the day when the LHS was selling them for $90 NIB. Your car immediately reminded me of this magazine cover:

Re: Finished my top cat build
Gary I would like to post some pics of my Topcat's but this isnt my thread. I remember building yours though. It was the only alloy trans centre Ive seen for these cars. Yours looks like it will make a very nice car also. Would you believe I was given those black rims NIP for free? Carzy!

Re: Finished my top cat build
THE TOPCAT IS DEFINATELY ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAV'S. AND WHY WOULDNT IT BE,HOW MANY OLD SCHOOL 2WD BUGGIES HAVE LAY DOWN INBOARD SHOCKS. HERE'S THE CAR I TAKE DOWN TO THE TRACK AND RACE IN AMONGST THE NEWER CARS OF TODAY. ALSO PAINTED ANOTHER COUPLE OF BODIES (ONE OF WHICH IS GOING DOWN TO ANT IN MELBOURNE FOR HIS CAR WHICH HE RACES REGULARLY ALSO).
