Parts for a vintage Kyosho
Parts for a vintage Kyosho
Hi all, new on here. I’m an off road electric buggy racer on a good day, but I’ve been given a PureTen GP F1 Maclaren by a friend to try to get it going. Not managed to start the engine yet as no glow plug heater or start box provided. There are a few things it will need, but I’m after a rear dog bone and arm that is snapped. Where is the best place to look for these. I’ve seen some stuff on eBay from the states but not sure if it’s correct for this car as I have no manual for part numbers. Any clues would be appreciated. I’d put a couple of photos on here but it won’t let me select any.

Photos maybe too large file size to attach? I took a screenshot of mine which reduces file size (thanks to a different thread). Attaching via my phone works ok.
Dog bone measure the remaining one assuming the same on nearside and offside. If the arm is plastic maybe someone can 3d print one.

Hello Stuart
Just saw this so kinda late but...
You might try http://www.kyosho.com/jpn/support/instructionmanual/pureten_fazer/pdf/31396_FAZER_McLaren_F1_GTR_m.pdf
Not sure of exact model, but maybe a start.

If it doesn't look like this one, it likely is the 1990s model. I think the manual should be on the web...radioactivity wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 11:24 am Hello Stuart
