RPM Ultra Molded T and B parts

Post by JosephS »

Hello all,
I picked up an RPM 8090 truck chassis that is solo.
I am trying to understand what parts the 8080 buggy and the 8090 truck have in common.

It seems many parts in the center of the chassis would be the same.
My guesses are:
Battery clips, cover and mount
Front and rear bulkheads
antenna holder
transmission brace
motor mount.

What I am not sure about are the steering swing arms as well as the top brace that connects the chassis to the bulkhead.
The truck chassis looks like it is picking up length on the front end. It seems to reason that the top brace would need to be longer mount to the bulkhead.
As well it seems it may have used the longer rc10T steering.

I expect that everything from the arm mounts out would be different.

10T kit used different (longer) steering bellcranks (swing arm), top plate, rear bulkhead, f&r arms, f&r shock towers.

I wasn't expecting the rear bulkhead to be different. Were the shock towers just stock?

Correct, and the towers weren't included in the kit.
