This manual is on Tekin's website as a pdf, so I just extracted the images and enhanced them a bit. I will be building up a new truck kit soon, and I figured that I would reference the manual at some point.

Just finishing up on this nib tekin chassis, everything but the nose plate is new. I know these have been posted before and I am not bringing a lot to the table here so I'll let the pics do the talking. BTW....I thought the bodies were supposed to...

Just got inspired by some threads on the Tekin conversion to post an old build. As per usual I had collected parts for a long time and wanted to build a mid motor conversion for vintage racing on modern carpet tracks. In 2014 I was ready to assemble...

I am going to build up a 5 link runner to try out at a vintage event. What's the consensus; should I go with the longer jrx pro chassis with the 30 degree lip or stock Jrx2 chassis? I have some beat up ones of each that will work.

I would go with the shorter original chassis with the T shock tower and longer shocks. Great handling chassis, properly set up with modern tires is still pretty darn quick!

I have a nib champ car that came with all black parts. I recieved a tekin chassis nib from ebay. I plan to to combine both kits to build the tekin chassis kit to a complete car. Whats the active link all about . Do I need any other parts?

You have to take the nose plate and bend it to change the kick up. And I would hate to see you mess up that Team car.
you don't have to do that, just like you don't have to use the losi hub carriers. with their testing, that seemed to be the best...

Hi guys,

I thought it could be cool to share this new project, well it's far away from a scoop, but the Tekin chassis conversion is way cool IMO, though not the best looking RC10 (the ugliest according to some people).
So I snagged 3 Tekin chassis...

I searched around a bit and didn't find any info on a Tekin RC10 chassis conversion.

I stumbled across one in my area and am thinking about making an offer but I'd like to know more about them first.

Any thoughts, threads, pics or info on them?

thanks rctenracer for the chassis kit :) going to do a pretty much basic build nothing fancy. fyi the holeshot heat sink i added was not part of the kit.
