On the Hunter, the paint killer did the job on the Gold... Almost I should say. It was painted from inside and outside for the Gold, and the part under the stickers are still there... I do question myself about removing the stickers or keep them...

Re: Another Marui project - Ninja/Shogun
Bill Elliot sits now proudly on the Marui chassis
At this stage, this chassis has no electronics, the runner is not going to be this one...
I did add a few details to the bodyshell using some trim line applied inside the bodyshell...
I'm very happy with the result...

Re: Another Marui project - Ninja/Shogun
I did put the Shogun driver figure and bodyshell on the chassis. I've not done any work on this chassis yet, it's not clean, but there is a very good basis for nice restoration (I have a plan for a Shogun runner beside this one: this one has been lightly ran, and is in pretty good shape, at the exception of one tire with a flat spot).
And I just noticed that I probably swap the wheels from right and left side which means there will be another set of pictures at some point

Re: Another Marui project - Ninja/Shogun
Another body cleaned...
Red and white went out quite quickly. Black followed... After 24 hours of green bath I decided to remove it from the bath and take the gold out with paint killer. The body is a bit damaged at the front right, probably due to a collision. But that could still make it for a runner... I'll have to get organized to paint this bodyshell at some point, most likely with a simpler shema than the shelfer...
