Parts questions

Post by blksheep214 »

Ok, it is becoming more and more obvious that it is difficult at best to get the white nylon parts for the RC10, but it appears that the black are in abundance. Unless I am mistaken on this. Anyway, my question is to try to hunt down the couple of white nylon pieces I need, or just replace all black. But then again I cant even fine the rear suspension mounts in black or white any suggestions?

If it's for a runner, go black. If you're doing a shelfer go for white. White parts are by far more rare.

This one is gonna be a runner, any idea where I can find a black rear suspension mount? I was checking Tower Hobbies, they say that they are discontinued? Ive got two old cars, so I figure out of the two I can get enough parts for one all white one, but I still cant fine any black ones either.

Best bet is to find them on ebay, on the classified forums here, or a local hobby shop that hasn't moved inventory in over a decade.

Last time I was in Kansas City which was YEARS ago, there was a place in Overland Park that had some old stock. It wasn't HobbyTown, but somewhere down or up the street from it. Have you checked there? Those rear suspension blocks are a hard find, especially the stock 1.5 degree versions.
